East Glam Bird Report 2011

It's that time of year again! Get your records together and send them off to me for collation. Full instructions are on the main web site at http://www.glamorganbirds.org.uk/recordsubmission.htm [scroll down a bit]. By the end of the month if at all possible. In addition if you saw anything that needs a description, then you shd get your submission off to David Gilmore ASAP as it will need to be circulated around the Glamorgan Records Committee. Again full instructions are at the above link, including a list of the species that require descriptions/photographs.

Thanks to everyone, too many to mention, who have now sent in their records - hardly any paper ones these days thank goodness. Quite a few people use MapMate now so:
Could all MapMate users please ensure your 2011 recs are databased and you have sync'd with your respective hubs. For the EGBR, in order that I get everything on my installation of MM I believe that there are those who sync direct with Dave Slade at SEWBReC. Hence Dave needs to snyc with Barry Stewart who needs to sync with Dave Carrington, who is my hub. This way I will also get those recs of people for whom Barry is hub. Thanks

Some more records received recently - from Paul Denning, Paul Marshman and Adrian Meredith. Thanks a lot. If anyone else has records not yet sent in please do so ASAP, esp paper ones. I need to start getting the master spreadsheet ready for splitting up into sections.
